Focus & Result Orientation - the commitment to delivery

Creating an orientation towards results seems like a subject too obvious to mention. Unfortunately - especially in larger organizations - many people lose track of what is happening at the front lines or of what the company is expecting from them, and they don't know anymore how to focus or what to focus on.

Many leaders claim they want their company to be the Number One in their business. Many of them however forget to define or communicate what 'Number One' actually means, so nobody knows what to do to become the Number One...

Creating result orientation with your employees therefore starts with developing a clear focus. For creating focus it is essential to develop proper strategic alignment, the four-step process in which every employee understands his/her role and responsibilities (and of-course empowered mandate) in supporting the organization's purpose and achieving its strategic goals.

In the end, results must be measured in value added to your customers. Every employee must learn to understand what the impact of his/her actions is on the financial results of your organization.
